白藜芦醇是蒽醌萜类化合物，主要来源于蓼科植物紫葡萄的果皮提取物。
【熔点及溶解度】253－255°c
【外 观】 红棕色至灰白色粉末
测定方法（hplc）：色谱柱为eclipsexdb c8柱,流动相为乙腈-水,流速为1 ml/min,检测波长为303nm
药理作用：1、白藜芦醇苷具有保护心肌细胞,改善微循环,抑制血小板聚集,抵抗内休克,降血脂,抗脂质过氧化,镇咳、平喘,抗病原微生物等多种药理作用
2、白藜芦醇是一种天然的抗氧化剂，可降低血液粘稠度，保持血液畅通，它也可防止癌症的发生及发展，白藜芦醇具有雌激素样作用，可用于治疗乳腺癌等疾病响脂类及花生回烯的代谢，抗血小板聚集和抗炎、抗过敏作用。具有抗血栓，明显的抗氧化，抗自由基的作用。具有抗动脉粥样硬化和冠心病，缺血性心脏病，高血脂的防治作用。
