At the meeting, relevant units also jointly launched an initiative to further strengthen investment and commercial cooperation in the rail transit industry between China and Southeast Asia. 该活动得到了来自印尼交通部、马来西亚交通部、菲律宾交通部、印度铁道部和东盟有关国家轨道交通行业协会的强力支持，来自印尼国铁集团、雅加达轻轨、雅加达地铁、马来西亚国铁、菲律宾国铁和香港地铁等业主单位领导出席活动并发布合作项目。会上各有关单位还共同发起了中国 - 东南亚地区进一步加强轨道交通行业投资与商贸合作的倡议。“2024 上海国际铁路与城轨展”将结合此倡议，邀请更多的“一带一路”国家的交通主管部门及伦敦、东京等海外业主单位负责人来到上海，发布重要的铁路和城轨合作项目，同时举行国内外业主单位领导国际交流会，分享建设和运营方面的经验和理念，借此为国内外轨道交通企业开展交流合作，搭建化和国际化的平台。

2019年轨道展上海申通地铁展位

“十三五”期间，上海地铁建成155.3公里线路、车站92座；不断进行自我革新，极限压缩行车间隔；“Metro大都会”连接长三角与北京等13座城市，优化市民乘客出行体验；上海万象城、凯德星贸、天空之城等一批地铁上盖项目成为城市新地标。

“十四五”期间，上海地铁将朝着全面建成1000公里以上“安全、人文、绿色、科技、智慧”的超大规模城市轨道交通网络，建立适应两个“1000”公里（城市轨道交通与市域铁路）网络一体化运营管理模式，继续探索数字化转型、智慧地铁新领域。

2021（第十六届）上海铁路与城市轨道交通展览会将于2021年10月17-19日在上海跨国caigou会展中心举办。3层展厅，展览面积超18000㎡，邀请超200个品牌联袂展示，预计超过20000+观众。

本届展会将以“铁路先行、城轨融合”为主题创立shida展区，覆盖国家铁路系统、货运重载铁路系统、通信信号、规划设计、基础设施建造、智能铁路智慧城轨专区、供电电气工务维保专区、机车机车辆及配套专区、车站站台系统、铁路投资及运维专区等。
