使用UPS时的开机和关机顺序
正确的开机关机顺序应该是先打开UPS给它供电，然后再打开各个负载，这样可以避免启动时瞬间的电流冲击给UPS造成的损害，在关机时的顺序正好相反应该先关闭各个负载后关闭UPS。在市电中断由UPS供电时，应该尽快保存好自己的数据和资料然后关闭电脑，否则使用UPS电源进行工作可能会使UPS过量放电，从而缩短UPS的使用寿命。
在使用UPS的时候还要计算负载的大小，要避免负载的过大或者过小，过大的负载会使UPS长期工作在超负荷状态从而缩短UPS的使用寿命;如果负载过小，UPS的工作电路长期工作在不正常状态，这对于UPS也是有一定危害的。
合理的负载应该控制在50%到80%之间。实践证明，UPS输出负载控制在60%左右为佳，可靠性好。在UPS出现过载或逆变器故障时会转到旁路模式运行，此时UPS不具备后备功能，负载所用的电源是通过电力系统直接供应的。
