Honestly, we would need to check with KBPA to be sure what testing is needed. If I am not mistaken, KBPA only requires biodegradation testing and not the other aspects of compostability.
Biodegradation, however, will for sure be needed and that comes at a cost of 5,611.2€ for the first 45 days of testing. If the 90% pass level is reached within 45 days, testing can of course be stopped. If not and if biodegradation is still ongoing, testing would need to be extended (be it at extra cost).
