 主要特性：淡黄色单斜针状或片状结晶，相对密度1.42,熔点180.2~181.7℃，遇明火能燃烧，易溶于乙酸乙酯、丙酮，溶于二氯甲烷、乙醇，氯仿、乙醇等有机溶剂和碱及碱性碳酸盐溶液。微溶于苯，不溶于水和汽油。呈粉尘状时，爆炸下限为21g/m3。每公斤体重家鼠的致死量为5oomg，还未发现工业上使用该产品而致病的报道。粒状或粉状产品的贮存稳定性在两年以上。

  使用特征：通用型促进剂，广泛用于各种橡胶，对天然胶和一般硫黄硫化合成胶具有快速促进作用，焦烧时间短，硫化平坦性宽。本品在橡胶中易分散，不污染，但与其硫化胶接触的物品易有苦味，不适用于制造与食品接触的橡胶制品。主要用于制造轮胎、内胎、胶带、胶鞋和工业制品等。
    用法：本品需氧化锌和脂肪酸活化，秋兰姆类、二硫代氨基甲酸盐类、醛胺类、胍类等促进剂及一氧化铅、氧化镁、硫酸镁等都能增进其活性，作第一促进剂时一般用量为1~2份，作第二促进剂时用量为0.2~0.5份。

   注意事项：本品低毒，对家兔ld505oomg/kg。刺激皮肤和粘膜，能引起皮炎及难以治疗的皮肤溃疡，可致敏。粉碎、过筛等装置应密闭，操作人员应穿戴劳动防护用品。
   包装及贮运：：采用木桶或聚丙烯编织袋或牛皮纸袋内衬塑料袋包装。每袋25kg。贮于干燥通风仓库中，存放期两年。按有毒化学品规定贮运。
