2主要用途
1.建筑业：作为水泥砂浆的保水剂、缓凝剂使砂浆具有泵送性。在抹灰浆、石膏料、腻子粉或其他的建材 作为黏合剂，提高涂抹性和延长可操作时间。 用作粘贴瓷砖、大理石、塑料装饰，粘贴增强剂，还可以减少水泥用量。 hpmc的保水性能使浆料在涂抹后不会因干得太快而龟裂，增强硬化后强度。
2.陶瓷制造业：在陶瓷产品制造中广泛用作黏合剂。
3.涂料业：在涂料业作为增稠剂、分散剂和稳定剂，在水或有机溶剂中都具有良好相溶性。作为脱漆剂。
4.油墨印刷：在油墨业作为增稠剂、分散剂和稳定剂，在水或有机溶剂中都具有良好相溶性。

本产品易溶于热水，也可用以下快速溶解方法：

1、取需要数量热水的1/5-1/3，搅动使所加产品完全膨润，再加入剩余部分热水，可以是冷水，甚至可以加冰水，搅拌至适宜的温度（10℃），即可完全溶解。
