4. esd protection specification
tuner will be packed with anti - static poly foam to prevent the esd damage. do not touch the tuner pins before grounding yourself. anyone handling the tuner must wear a properly grounded anti - static discharge bracelet.
4-1. rf connector
test is performed with a voltage discharge from a 150pf capacitor over a 330?series resistance in the discharge path. there is a direct contact between the test probe head and the rf connector with ± 8 kvdc.
4-2. module pins
test is performed with a voltage discharge from a 150pf capacitor over a 330?series resistance in the discharge path. there is a direct contact between the test probe head and pin 1 through 11 with 3 successive esd discharges of ± 2 kvdc.
