hard tags are placed to soft goods with pins or to hard goods with lanyards. they are normally reusable for years. but some of retailers do require disposable hard tags to be source tagged onto commodities in order to improve circulation efficiency and save cost of labour at points of sale. when goods are checked out, hard tags will be removed by detachers. there are hundreds of designs of hard tags with different lock mechanisms and appearances. but the purpose is the same – difficult to be removed without authorization and easy to be removed by special detachers.
